Meet The Founder

Rooted Enrichment was founded by Anthony Baca, a Bay Area native and proud member of the neurodivergent community. Living with ADHD himself, Anthony understands both the challenges and strengths that come with being neurodiverse. His personal journey has fueled his passion for creating safe, empowering spaces where kids and teens can thrive.

Anthony brings over a decade of experience serving the autism community in a variety of roles. He began as a job coach at Integrated Community Services, supporting young adults in building workplace skills and confidence. He then provided one-to-one support as an aide at Oak Hill School, working closely with students to help them reach their educational goals. Through the Self-Determination Program, Anthony partnered with families to create personalized plans that fostered independence, growth, and meaningful life skills. In addition, he is PEERS certified, giving him the tools to help neurodiverse youth build social connections and lasting friendships.

Most recently, Anthony served as the Coordinator of Student Services at The Helix School, where his leadership and dedication to student success earned him recognition as the 2025 Administrator of the Year. This honor highlighted not only his ability to design effective programs but also his commitment to connecting with students, families, and staff in meaningful ways.

Throughout his career, Anthony noticed a gap in opportunities for neurodiverse kids and teens—programs that go beyond academics and truly celebrate creativity, strengths, and community. Rooted Enrichment was created to fill that void in the Bay Area, offering annual enrichment opportunities that empower participants through hands-on learning, creative exploration, and social growth.

Anthony’s vision is clear: to build a supportive community where differences are embraced, potential is nurtured, and every young person feels valued for exactly who they are.

“Every child deserves more than just support—they deserve enrichment, opportunity, and the belief that their differences are strengths.” – Anthony Baca
